We are looking for a Senior Android Engineer to build high-impact Android applications with exceptional quality as fast as possible 🏎️

You will have the opportunity to contribute to code that tens of millions of users worldwide will use, grow your skills, and actively participate in the life of the Product Engineering department and your Squad. More specifically, you will:

• Collaboratively work with the Product team to analyse user needs and requirements.
• Design, develop, and implement new features and applications using Kotlin and adhere to best practices in Android development.
• Actively participate in continuously improving and maintaining existing applications to ensure they meet the evolving needs of users and the business.
• Engage in testing and quality assurance of all developed features and applications to guarantee reliability and functionality.
• Work closely with UI/UX designers, Product Managers, and other engineers to deliver collaborative projects.

TARGET PROFILE

You are a seasoned Android Engineer passionate about crafting efficient, scalable, and user-centric mobile applications. With your extensive experience in Kotlin and Android development, you possess the skills to transform complex requirements into innovative solutions swiftly. Eager to take on challenging tasks, you always look for learning opportunities and thrive in environments that value collaboration, continuous improvement, and a touch of creativity.

Expected competencies:

• Android Development: at least four years of professional experience in Android development with a deep understanding of Kotlin for native development. You should have proven experience with at least one application on the Google Play Store. Bonus point if you have JNI and native development (C/C++) expertise.
• Scalability and Maintainability: You produce efficient, scalable, and maintainable code.. Bonus point: you don’t hesitate to create tools to simplify specific processes (Gradle Custom Task, Scripting, etc.).
• Think First, Code Later Approach: You plan thoughtfully before coding and understand the importance of strategising to ensure efficient and effective development processes.
• Continuous Learning: You stay informed about technological news and actively engage in learning and discussions with colleagues to share knowledge and learn.
• Team Collaboration: You are comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams and can communicate technical ideas effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Communication: You can clearly and understandably explain your ideas to technical and non-technical teammates.
• Attention to Detail: With a keen eye for detail, you ensure your work is of the highest quality.
• Proactivity: You are proactive and take initiative in identifying and addressing potential issues or opportunities.
• Curiosity: You are curious and constantly seek to learn more about the market, users, and emerging technologies.
