Job Description

Contract Type: W2 / Non-Exempt (US Citizen or Green Card)

What You’ll Do

As a non-exempt/hourly employee at Burwood, you will play a key role within our Intelligent Operations team, building ServiceNow integrations and automating IT processes to enable clients to become more efficient & effective, and ultimately provide a better user experience for our client’s end-users. The team works directly with clients and with various teams across Burwood.

As the Sr. ServiceNow Engineer, you’ll be involved in:

• Performing requirement analysis, design, configuration, testing and customization of ServiceNow modules, features, and applications
• Developing integrations with backend systems, e-bonding and web-based services into ServiceNow
• Creating comprehensive and efficient ServiceNow workflows and processes to drive ITSM success
• Implementing and documenting IT operations and software requirements for Burwood and our clients
• Maintaining and assisting to further develop our internal platforms with ServiceNow
• Managing all aspects of internal deployment projects and work closely with the internal transformation teams on status, issues, and communications
• Creating and maintaining technical documentation and user-guides
• Conducting user-training and help-sessions for new features or implementations
• Managing gaps between business specifications and product enhancements and/or business process change

Qualifications

Who You Are

• You understand Service Management concepts, platform design, configuration, and administration.
• You have a minimum of 5 – 7 years of hands-on and current ServiceNow experience.
• You are a detail-oriented, enthusiastic, self-starter with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• You enjoy problem solving and workflow challenges. You recognize process before platform and have a passion to design and build quality products and solutions for customers.
• You have excellent communications skill whether that be in-person, on teams, or e-mail, with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

The Tech Stuff

• 5+ Years working with ServiceNow platform as a developer
• Experience writing process flows, integration specifications, business rules, flow designer, etc. in ServiceNow
• Experience with Web Technologies (XML, HTML, Java, JavaScript, JSON, React, Web Services, etc.)
• Understanding of SQL and database experience
• ITIL and or ServiceNow developer / architect / implementation certifications are a plus
• Must have development work experience with multiple clients in the following modules ITSM, ITAM, ITOM, CSM
• Experience with SPM, IRM, HRSD a plus
