Position: Senior Global Data Scientist

Based: Łódź, Poland

 

 

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

 

• Bringing new insights to the business.
• Leading data mining and analytics.
• interpreting and reporting of large integrated data sets built with structured.
• and unstructured data.
• Developing tools to leverage new proprietary data sources.
• Statistical model building and deployment in the areas of forecasting, marketing mix and consumer insights.
• Continuously seeking out industry best practices and skills development to create new capabilities for data analytics at McCormick, to drive proper marketing strategies.

 

 

CANDIDATE PROFILE

 

• Higher Education in Statistics, Data Analytics, or similar degree.
• Fluent English.
• Proven experience in analytics industry, including extensive exposure to analysing complex datasets, generating insights, and building robust statistical models.
• Comfort in working with both structured and unstructured data.
• Expertise in MS Office is a must.
• Familiarity with SQL and ETL procedures with hands on experience with Hadoop.
• Knowledge of Python is desirable but not a must.
• Ongoing aspiration to learn about new industry tools.
• Ability to influence and navigate across multiple functions to leverage enterprise data seamlessly.
• Ability to communicate complex information to internal audiences.
