About the role

Description

The Director of Revenue Cycle Management will lead and oversee revenue cycle management (RCM) functions, and organizational and strategic direction to drive efficient, accurate and compliant revenue cycle management billing activities to maximize reimbursement. Supervisory Responsibilities: • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains management and professional-level staff. • Oversees the schedules and responsibilities of managerial staff in the department. • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Optimize current organization, integrate teams, develop unified processes and procedures, and

direct the daily operations with a patient-centric focus and full leverage of technology solutions.

• Develop processes to increase effectiveness and recognize and celebrate achievements; have an

orientation towards continuous process improvements.

• Scale the operation: build out teams, processes, tools & systems as well as external/offshore

partnerships that will allow this high growth company to scale its RCM offerings quickly to leaders

in current specialties and as the company expands into new areas.

• Innovation and growth: bring or develop a deep understanding of the competitive RCM landscape

and help develop strategy to maximize leverageable points of differentiation or white space;

articulate a value proposition for the integration of RCM services with other parent company

offerings; develop a roadmap for expansion of RCM offerings and value-added services as market

changes and grows as well as support expansion into other specialties.

• Provides advice and support to senior management regarding matters related to all aspects of

revenue management and Credentialing.

• Recruit, manage and develop teams quickly as business scales, create highly effective onboarding

systems to drive productivity of new team members with urgency.

• Represent the needs, issues, and opportunities of the RCM team to the senior management team.

• Performs other duties as required.


This role is open to candidates in Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Hawaii, Illinois, Montana, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Nevada, Texas, Utah, West Virginia, and Virginia.

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Thorough understanding of and personal involvement with systems and methodologies of RCM and

administration.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Athena EHR..



Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare Management, Finance, or a related field, required. MHA

or MBA, preferred.

• At least ten years of experience in the revenue cycle management of a company required.


Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

• Must be able to travel.
