The Data Science Intern acts as part of a collaborative team to generate insights and product features from data. Contributes to the discovery, requirements gathering, data acquisition and wrangling, pipeline monitoring, and model prototyping and improvement processes. The Data Science Intern will also assist other team members with client support and the fulfillment of inbound requests.
What you will Do:
- Participate in discovery, requirements gathering and exploratory data analysis
- Assist team data engineer with development and optimization of our data pipelines, as well as data cleaning/wrangling/merging/quality control.
- Work with the team to prototype, test, and refine data models for predictive and prescriptive toolsets
- Maintain and update dashboard datasets in PowerBI
- Use SQL to pull data for ad-hoc and project requests

- Insights into aerospace supply chain operations.
- Skills in data aggregation, analysis, and performance reporting.
- Effective cross-functional collaboration and strategic problem-solving.
- The complexities of supplier relationships and performance management.
- SQL and the manipulation of large data sets.
Qualifications you must have:
Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.

Qualifications We Prefer:
- Skills: Strong communication, organizational skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Systems Experience: Working knowledge of ERP systems like SAP.
- Methodologies: Experience with Lean Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement practices.
- Familiarity with SQL, Python and R is preferred
- Experience with Microsoft Development Stack, C#, MVC and SAP is a plus.
