The ideal candidate will be within commutable distance to Carrier headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens, FL or Syracuse, New York.

Role Responsibilities: 

• Lead strategic initiatives using advanced analytics such as elasticity models, failure‑rate predictions, dynamic safety‑stock, customer churn, and historic customer behaviors.  

• Build, enhance, and maintain Power BI dashboards; ensure single‑source‑of‑truth metrics for KPIs. 

• Prepare and present analytical findings and recommendations to senior management and key stakeholders. 

• Support other collaborative data analytics research occurring in parallel with your tasks. 

• Continuously assess and refine analytical methodologies to improve the accuracy and relevance of insights. 

• Translate complex analytics into plain‑English narratives and action plans for executives. 

• Serve as change‑management champion – train end users, gather feedback, and measure adoption. 

Basic Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree. 

• 4+ years of experience in managing and analyzing large datasets using Python or R, with strong proficiency in Power BI and Excel.  

• 3+ years of professional experience in business analysis, financial analysis, strategic planning, and/or data analytics.  

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Candidates must demonstrate the ability to communicate insights effectively, both verbally and through presentations using PowerPoint.  

• Experience in Python/R (scikit‑learn, pandas), Power BI or Tableau. Familiar with AWS, Microsoft Azure, and/ or Google Cloud Platform.  

• Organizational and analytical skills with demonstrated ability to pull data from assorted sources and synthesis in both graphic and verbal forms. 

• Cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, problem-analysis, and resolution skills 

• Strong sense of urgency, quality, self-initiative, sense of ownership and customer satisfaction orientation.
