About the Team

The Cloud Enablement Product team sits at the heart of our Cloud Operations Resilience Engineering (CORE) organization with a mission to help Capital One thrive on and with the public cloud. We are on a journey to ensure data privacy, operational excellence, and strategic growth for a well-managed and governed cloud. We are driving foundational capabilities that power secure, scalable, and resilient cloud operations. 

In this role, you will be expected to lead data protection (building and enhancing safeguards for our most critical data to meet compliance and standards globally), small accounts strategy (our ability to rightsize and segment AWS accounts), Cloud Software Defined Network (abstracted network management), and modern cloud architecture adoption.

Basic Qualifications:

• At least 7 years of experience working in Product Management

• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date: 

  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)

  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

• 10+ years of experience in technical product management, engineering, data privacy/protection, or cloud operations/infrastructure

• 3+ years of experience in people leadership

• AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) certification
