PPHS 612 Principles of Public Health Practice (3 credits)

Winter 2025

PPHS : Principles and methods in public health practice. Topics will include investigation in public health, public health intervention, program evaluation, public health and the health care system, society and public health.

Location: RPHYS, 114

Schedule:  Wednesday, Friday, 8:35am-9:55am

Credits: 3

Teaching Qualification Requirements:

Education: Master’s degree in public health or epidemiology. Physician specialist in public health an asset.

Experience: Experience in public health practice including planning, implementation and evaluation of public health programs. Experience/knowledge in managing public health teams. Experience and knowledge of the public health system in Quebec and in Canada
