Sr Program Manager, Virtual Events
Location: NYC, NY or Remote
Reporting to: Director Customer Success, Events
The Sr. Program Manager, Virtual Events is responsible for managing all aspects of CRA’s virtual events, including production schedules for logistics, sponsor fulfillment, marketing and content to ensure successful event delivery and exceptional customer experience. This role partners closely with internal teams and serves as a lead resource within Client Success, supporting the CSS customer success team and applicable integrations.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
Client Success & Sponsor Management
- Create production schedules with timelines and owners for each virtual event. Follow up with owners to ensure all deliverables are on time. Schedule and lead a weekly stakeholder meeting as necessary
- Coordinate with Production to ensure event readiness, content accuracy, and technology quality
- Manage pre-production content logistics, including speaker engagement, recordings, agendas, and timelines
- Manage virtual event sponsor communications, collect and track deliverables (content, speakers, logos, booths), and ensure on-time fulfillment
- Ensure customer communication timelines are aligned with production deadlines
- Document client interactions and workflows in CRM and project management tools
- Act as a customer advocate to ensure maximum value and satisfaction
- Own sponsor speaker communications, including panels, and ensure delivery of recorded event materials
- Lead onboarding and training for new CSS team members
- Provide day-to-day support and guidance to CSS CSMs on processes and event execution
- Monitor customer outreach schedules, inbox traffic and SLAs for the CSS team.
- Manage end-to-end execution of custom virtual events, serving as primary client contact and ensuring scope alignment
- Assist with integration, migration and process alignment for any incoming events or new products
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Event Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in program management, virtual event production, client success, or sponsorship/event operations
- Proven ability to manage multiple virtual events and timelines simultaneously with strong attention to detail
- Experience building and managing production schedules, deliverables, and stakeholder accountability
- Strong client-facing skills with experience managing sponsors, speakers, and partner communications
- Familiarity with virtual event platforms and event technology workflows (webinars, livestreams, recordings, speaker prep, etc.)
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams (Production, Marketing, Sales, Client Success) to ensure successful event execution
- Strong project management skills and comfort working in CRM and project management tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com, etc.)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including leading stakeholder meetings and coordinating follow-ups
- Ability to document processes, manage workflows, and maintain clear internal reporting
- Experience supporting and training team members, including onboarding and process guidance
- Customer-first mindset with a focus on sponsor fulfillment, customer satisfaction, and high-quality delivery

This compensation range is specific to New York City and takes into account numerous factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to a candidates' qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and location.
