Elevate your career with us and be at the forefront of data excellence!</span></p> <p> </p> <p><span><strong><u>Job description</u></strong></span></p> <p><span>As an Intercompany</span><span> Senior</span><span> Analyst, you will be performing many controls, checks, analysis and reconciliations in order to make sure the Financial Statements of the JP Morgan Corporate and Investment Bank are accurate.</span></p> <p><span>The most common functions and activities owned by Firmwide Financial Control Team include but are not limited to the following: financial analysis, consolidation, reporting, balance sheet reconciliation and substantiation, general ledger reconciliation reporting &amp; governance, inter-entity control and governance, manual accounting/bookings to the general ledger and operating systems, and executing the month end close process.   </span></p> <p><span><strong><u>Job responsibilities</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Be accountable for correctness, integrity and substantiation of Balance Sheet and P&amp;L accounts</span></li> <li><span>Work closely with other Finance functions e.g. Product Control, Asset Class Controllers, Middle Office, Technology, and Operations</span></li> <li><span>Partner with FFC teams globally</span></li> <li><span>Manage the consolidation of JPMorgan Chase financial data at month-end for their asset class, including the ability to support month end, quarter end, and year end activities</span></li> <li><span>Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments</span></li> <li><span>Ability to proactively identify process and/or infrastructure enhancements and work with stakeholders enact change</span></li> <li><span>Mobilize change wherever possible in order to simplify processes and enhance controls</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong><u>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Good understanding of General Ledger accounting concepts (Balance Sheet, P&amp;L)</span></li> <li><span>Excellent command of business English and communication skills (both written and spoken)</span></li> <li><span>Self-driven attitude with good organizational and problem-solving skills</span></li> <li><span>Ability to critically challenge with the goal of identifying control issues</span></li> <li><span>Comfort liaising with business and partners while building and maintaining strong working relationships</span></li> <li><span>Minimum of 1 - 3 years’ experience in Banking, Accounting or other Finance function</span></li> <li><span>Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or within other numerical field</span></li> </ul> <p><span><strong><u>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span>Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in working with numbers</span></li> <li><span>SAP knowledge will be value added</span></li> <li><span>Alteryx knowledge will be value added</span></li> </ul> <p></p> J.P.
