As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving strategic decisions, optimizing risk management strategies, and ensuring the sustainable growth of Allianz Commercial on a global scale.</p> <p> </p> <p>The Impact You Will Have <br/> You will underwrite profitable new and renewal business to meet the line of business targets regionally including global elements. You will take ownership of large key accounts and clients including negotiation of participation, pricing and terms and conditions as well as train and development the team is crucial for this role to develop and maintain strong relationships with critical brokers and clients.</p> <p> </p> <p>Some of your specific responsibilities could include:</p> <ul> <li>Underwrite large complex new and renewal accounts to meet top and bottom-line targets as well as in line with Liability governance framework - e. g. Underwriting Authorities, global MSU, Underwriting Guidelines, Rules, and Principles</li> <li>Negotiate participation, pricing and terms and conditions with brokers. </li> <li>Ensure accurate policy documentation and file maintenance</li> <li>Proactively drive acquisition of new business and retention of existing business (including client and broker negotiations where necessary)</li> <li>Positively represent Allianz Commercial externally to the market including very large clients.</li> <li>Proactively drive involvement of functional areas in Underwriting process, including e. g. Allianz Risk Consulting, Claims and Operations</li> <li>Propose an optimal portfolio structure and anticipate portfolio development trends</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>What You’ll Bring to the Role</p> <ul> <li>Preferably a degree in Economics, Law, or other appropriate discipline</li> <li>Completion of professional insurance qualification (e. g.
