About the Job:
The Quality Review Coordinator provides support activities for the Quality Improvement department by assisting the Director in completing all regulatory related duties including Joint Commission ICM reviews, corporate quality initiatives, and LCD audits on all Medicare patients. Assists Department Directors and staff to meet compliance with facility policies and procedures and regulatory and accrediting agencies to ensure that there is a safe environment in which to provide quality careRoles and Responsibilities:
· Assists in maintaining accreditation compliance, patient safety goals and other state or licensing requirements.
· Audits program components to ensure compliance with contracts, licensing, and accreditation standards.
· Assists in the development and oversight of corrective action plans to address deficiencies in contract compliance.
· Maintains updated policy and procedure manuals and electronic and physical database.
· Assists in the attainment and renewal of accreditation and licensing for the facility.
· Maintains and analyzes incident reports to support PI data collection and reporting needs and direction. Enters data into computer database for reporting and tracking purposes.
· Assists in the development of new programming and program expansion projects including quality related training.
· Assists in the initiation and oversight of the follow-through for program improvement initiatives and corrective actions.
· Completes quality analysis reports and identify recommendations for improvement.
· Facilitates document processing between managers and committees.
· Assists Department Directors and staff as needed to maintain compliance with regulatory guidelines and policy implementation.
· Associate’s degree within a clinical field such as nursing or counseling required. Bachelor’s degree in a clinical field preferred.
· Three or more years’ experience working in a human services organization with implementation of performance improvement and/or evaluation activities required.
· CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
