The Employment Law Attorney will handle and support a heavy and complex caseload from pre-litigation, litigation, trial prep and trial. This opportunity would be in our Sacramento office.</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Day-to-day handling of cases from pre-litigation to litigation&nbsp;</li> <li>Mostly handling the pre-suit side and assisting senior attorneys once the claim files suit&nbsp;</li> <li>Drafting and filing of litigation documents to include pleadings, discovery requests, discovery responses, demands, motions and memorandum</li> <li>Guide clients through the case process</li> <li>Interaction with expert witnesses to include conferences, drafting of expert reports and affidavits</li> <li>Attendance and preparation for depositions, mediations, hearings, and court appearances</li> </ul> <p><strong>Qualification</strong></p> <ul> <li>Law degree (J.D. / Juris Doctor) from a fully ABA accredited law school</li> <li>An active member in good standing with the CA State Bar Association.</li> <li>A plus to have experience on wage and hour claims</li> <li>Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit and litigation cases</li> <li>Excellent client service and communication skills</li> <li>Self-starter driven by long-term career goals</li> </ul> <p>#LI-RK1</p><div class="content-pay-transparency"><div class="pay-input"><div class="title">Salary Range</div><div class="pay-range"><span>$100,000</span><span class="divider">&mdash;</span><span>$500,000 USD</span></div></div></div><div class="content-conclusion"><p><strong>Benefits</strong></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Morgan &amp; Morgan is a leading personal injury law firm dedicated to protecting the people, not the powerful.
