We have been making quality beverages for the Midwest since 1872 and supplying them from 14 distribution centers across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota.
Position Summary: Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of an effective Management System that is compliant to all current regulatory, internal and external requirements.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Evaluates effective implementation of the facility’s Management System (policies, procedures, processes) against applicable state, federal regulations, and external regulatory requirements.
- Primary contact/lead for all Coca-Cola, 3rd Party, Federal and State audits
- Facilitates internal audits and communicates findings from audits to responsible employees.
- Coordinates and leads training classes
- Acts as scientific, regulatory, technical, food safety or quality expert and consultant to the company including other branches and customers
- Manages documentation and records in order to ensure that they are complete, current, secure, and easily retrievable. This includes proficiency in the administration role of Master Control
- Reviews and updates existing policies, procedures, and work instructions to meet ISO standards, regulatory requirements and The Coca-Cola Company specifications
- Facilitate Food Safety Plans (HACCP) and appropriate risk assessments
- Leader and organizer of multiple cross functioning teams (Food Safety Team, Green Team, Safety Team, HACCP, Management Review)
- Facilitate FDA FSMA requirements to applicable locations
- Able to react to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
• High-School Diploma/GED
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in food or beverage manufacturing compliance preferred
• Previous experience with Management systems, ISO, and food safety preferred

• Must be able to read, speak, and write in English to be able to communicate with supervisor and co-workers and to operate equipment.
Work Environment: Office, production, and warehouse environment. The office is an air-conditioned workspace. Temperature can be very hot and humid during the warmer months in the warehouse.

• Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust and focus vision when reading from a computer terminal
• Frequent standing, walking, and sitting for long periods of time

Job Status: Full Time

Schedule: Monday-Friday 730am-430pm; Extended hours as needed
Pay: $75,000-$85,000 based off experience
