About the role
<p><strong>Job Description</strong></p>
<p>You will work as part of a dynamic and challenging financial regulatory team, looking after regulatory submissions to the Local and European regulators focusing on high data quality submissions and in a controlled governance framework. Member of a multi-national and multi-cultural team, you will be entrusted to support and handle regulatory submissions ensuring timeliness and accuracy, developing controls and reviewing the work delivered by junior team member and off shore support members. Senior management presentations and sign off meeting reviews will be led by the ideal candidate giving additional key business leader changes and growth.</p>
<p>As a Finance Regulatory Reporting - Senior Associate in the financial reporting team, you will be actively involved in the monthly, quarterly and annual financial regulatory submissions, as well as addressing Regulatory queries. You will support ad-hoc Regulatory requests that should be handled with very tight timelines in some cases. You will have a chance to supervise and review junior members and off shore supports work prior to submissions externally or to Senior Management.</p>
<p><strong>Job Responsibilities:-</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Assists the Financial reporting team responsible for the Quarterly submission of FINREP on consolidated and stand alone basis for JPMSE</li>
<li>Functions as first-point of contact for the environment and sustainability regulatory requests across the lines of business and functions for JPMSE.</li>
<li>Involves actively on the Sustainability related disclosures for JPMSE on annual basis.</li>
<li>Supports the monthly local statistical reporting to the German Central Bank.</li>
<li>Participates in Annual Data collection exercise submissions to the Single Resolution Board (SRB) (Liability data reporting, Critical function reporting).</li>
<li>Leads role in the preparation of the new GSIB (Globally systemic important bank) reporting on a quarterly basis</li>
<li>Involves in the preparation of the Annual Basel III monitoring exercise, and Funding plans </li>
<li>Supports the team and prepare responses on ad-hoc tasks and queries from the regulators and external auditors</li>
<li>Prepares and present to senior management reports and analytical variances on reporting</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>At least 7 years of professional experience in a large multinational and global environment.</li>
<li>University Degree in a Finance or Business related discipline, coupled with relevant experience within the Financial Services industry</li>
<li>Analytical and detail orientated</li>
<li>Ability to work in teams across various locations</li>
<li>Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Solid German (desirable) language skills</li>
<li>Experience in direct communication with regulators and auditors advantageous</li>
<li>Proficient in MS applications - Excel, Power Point, Word, Axiom desirable</li>
<li>Ideally multi-cultural / multi-national background, being able to communicate internationally and across lines of business in a complex matrix structure</li>
