Shape the future of Savoury Segment Growth!  In this role, you will utilize your technical expertise to collaborate with customers, sales, marketing and flavourists as well as sensory and regulatory and provide taste/texture solutions aligned with segment strategy and client needs.

Your key responsibilities

• Lead projects and manage briefs, ensure required actions to meet project objectives, participate in work sessions with clients and deliver presentations in a technical capacity to clients as needed.
• Assess and choose suitable flavor profiles in accordance with performance, legal regulations, cost considerations, client preferences, and application requirements.
• Develop new and innovative applications in Savoury (mainly Alternative Proteins & Soups and Sauces) as well as new concepts to showcase dsm-firmenich flavors, ingredients, technologies, and innovations.
• Operate as technical partner (POC) to related clients.
• Clarify Technical challenges and roadblocks, guide flavorists on their creation and be the gate keeper of everything submitted (Best profile – Best cost).
• Work in close cooperation with account managers and savoury category teams (Flavourists, technologists, marketeers, sensory and regulatory).
• Manage & organize the lab (resources / raw materials / ingredients / equipment etc.).

You bring

• A degree in food technology or equivalent.
• Minimum of 8 years professional experience in the Food Industry. Flavour / Taste background is a must.
• Practical food application skills / Pilot plant equipment experience.
• Communication skills in English, written and verbal.
• Excellent organization, communication & presentation skills.
• Project leadership skills and experience, strong Team Player, independency, ability to take initiative and strong driver for high quality execution.
