Architect - Healthcare

ISG is excited to bolster our team with an enthusiastic Architect to support our Healthcare Business Unit. As an Architect, you will be an ISG Employee Owner working collaboratively with your fellow employee owners to develop creative solutions. 

ISG is looking to expand our team as we provide unmatched services for our Healthcare clients—crafting exceptional hospitals, medical centers, office practices and clinics that truly set them apart. Our ideal candidate will have valuable depth and breadth in our industry, and at a minimum will be a skilled communicator with a passion for award-winning design who possesses valuable technical knowledge, provides proven leadership and displays great problem-solving skills. We’ll need you to jump in headfirst on a broad range of healthcare-related work by designing bright and hygienic environments that promote wellness and build trust.

In this role, you will work closely with Tarah Raaum, AIA, Healthcare Business Unit Leader and Jeremy Wiesen, AIA, NCARB, LEED AP, Architecture Group Leader. You will also collaborate with ISG internal resources for design and project collaboration, project execution, code review and evaluations, specification writers, visualization specialists, and construction administrators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Work interactively with clients, other design professionals and the public in a creative environment on a broad range of unique healthcare projects
• Work directly with clients in all phases of design process to construction, including master planning, documentation, funding development, programming, and presenting
• Communicate project goals, objectives, design standards and procedures with project managers and multi-discipline team
• Serve as a mentor and build the team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited architecture program
• Licensed to practice architecture
• Ability to connect and promote ISG’s solutions to clients
• Ability to communicate ideas empathetically and visually through both written and verbal communications
• Ability to represent ISG and clients in public forums
• Proficiency in architectural design software including AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
• In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and legal requirements
• Experience in healthcare design and creating detailed architectural drawings
• Familiarity in Revit, Adobe Suite and Sketchup computer software packages
