"We are seeking a strategic and technically adept Lead Data Architect to drive enterprise data initiatives with a strong focus on Microsoft Fabric. This role blends architectural leadership with business engagement, making it ideal for someone passionate about solving complex data challenges and scaling modern data platforms.
Your role
- Define and lead enterprise data architecture strategies with a focus on Microsoft Fabric and its integrated services (e.g., OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI).
- Architect and oversee scalable data solutions across ingestion, data flows/data lineage, transformation, modeling, and visualization layers.
- Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to align data architecture with strategic goals.
- Drive adoption of Microsoft Fabric as a unified platform for data engineering, analytics, and governance.
- Lead the development of reusable templates, frameworks, and methodologies to accelerate delivery.
- Present architectural concepts and roadmaps to both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
- Stay current with emerging trends in data architecture and cloud platforms.
Your skills and experience
- Proven experience delivering enterprise data architecture solutions, including cloud-native platforms.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft Fabric components: OneLake, Data Factory, Synapse Data Engineering, Power BI, etc.
- Strong background in data modeling, ETL/ELT.
- Demonstrated ability to lead pre-sales efforts and architect solutions in client-facing environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including C-suite engagement.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to balance delivery and strategic initiatives.
- Microsoft certifications in Azure Data Engineering or Microsoft Fabric.
- Experience with data mesh, data fabric, or other modern data architecture paradigms.
- Executive presence with the ability to influence and drive data strategy at the enterprise level.
