This position is fully onsite at our Flight Research Center in Arlington, TX, and will require domestic and international travel based on business needs.

Quality Operations
Bring your experience and ideas to participate in the 525 Conformity Inspections efforts supporting Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Type Certificates and Post FAA Type Certificate projects, maintenance and inspection recording and tracking of Flight Test aircraft and the updating of aircraft inspection processes/procedures used in the Flight Test environment and that of the Repair Station, to ensure safe and compliant Flight Operations.  You will participate in the ongoing efforts that support the preparation and readiness for the MV-75 aircraft, as well. 

What You’ll be doing as a Quality Operations Specialist

  • Support Flight Test inspection planning activities which includes the resolving of CAMS and Electronic workbook problems integral in 525 Conformities.

  • Complete installation and detail (part) conformities using research through SAP/ENOVIA and vender documentation to include inspection records, material certs and ATPs.

  • Interface with Suppliers and Internal Facilities to facilitate reception of accurate component conformity documentation.

  • Support documentation review and troubleshooting, in direct support of Configuration Management activities for the 525.

  • Support Type Certificate and Production Certificate activities through liaison with Flight Inspection team and the Manufacturing & Maintenance Unit Members of the ODA.

  • Assist in the review of applicable Quality policies and procedures.

  • Support FAA Repair Station Part 145 internal audits as requested.

  • Provide reports and status updates as requested.

Qualifications

 

Skills you need to be Successful:

  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience supporting FAA Aircraft Type Certification 
  • Proficient with FAA Request for Conformities (RFC's), Form 8130-9, and/or Part Install Conformities 
  • Prior experience in aircraft maintenance or related environments 
  • Proficient in SAP, CAMS, CAFTA, CATIA and/or Enovia, preferred 
  • Familiarity with AS9100D Quality Management System requirements, preferred
  • Experience in direct support of an Organization Designation Authorization (ODA) and/or Manufacturing and Maintenance Unit Member (MMUM), preferred
