Are you an experienced leader with a good knowledge of customer service and logistics? This is an opportunity to lead a very engaged Customer Logistics team as well as being a critical part of the Logistics Management Team in Arla Denmark. We are looking for a passionate and change-driven senior leader who wants to further strengthen our partnerships with our customers and drive internal process improvements!

 

How you will make an impact

As our new Senior Customer Logistics Manager, you will lead and develop the Customer Logistics team with focus on the development of Arla’s partnership with our customers.

Customer Logistics is an important part of the day-to-day operation and development of strong collaboration with our larger customers. The role covers local customer service activities and customer related value chain improvements. We are constantly working with a continuous improvement mindset both internally and with our customers. You will be an important part of our partnership with customers and get a large internal network and the opportunity to influence our future development.

You can look forward to the following responsibilities, among other:

• Strategic and day to day logistics dialogues with customers to commercialize logistics
• Alignment with internal and external partners by identifying critical connections and patterns in information across the supply chain and customers
• Lead, coach and develop your team and organization with a focus on safety, service, quality and cost
• Contribute to the overall global logistics agenda in regards to Customer Logistics

 

You will report to the Senior Logistics Director and be a part of the Logistics Management Team in Denmark. You will also have a place within the extended Sales Leadership Lean in order to ensure one voice of the customer. What will make you successful

We imagine that the ideal candidate has an academic background in for example logistics or business administration. You are an experienced people manager and well versed at leading through others. You also bring experience from logistics and development of customer relationships – likely in FMCG.  We are also looking for candidates that are knowledgeable and experienced within driving continuous improvements and optimization work in accordance with Lean to continuously drive for increased customer benefits.

 

To thrive in this role you need to have excellent leadership skills and an ability to lead your coworkers to good results. You like to take your own initiatives while at the same time contributing to a collaborative work environment. Finally, as your workplace is Arla Denmark, you must be fluent in both Danish and English in both speaking and writing.
