Seated in the Global Service Engineering, we use state-of-the-art methods and tools to diagnose and prognose condition of our global wind turbine fleet.</span></span></p> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span>YOUR TASKS</span></span></b></p> <ul> <li><span><span>Being one of the technical leads to monitor the global fleet</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Create detailed reports for specific customers (Service organisation or turbine owner).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Improving existing algorithms and developing new ones for more precise and reliable failure prediction.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Lead continuous improvement initiatives on the teams analysis and reporting.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Mentoring and coaching team members.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Providing specialised training to internal and external customers.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Event based reporting to local service organisation with actionable recommendations.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Following up and updating reported failures according to severity of the failure.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Supporting local service organisation for taking decisions of condition based repairs.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><b><span><span>YOUR PROFILE</span></span></b></p> <p><span><span>Ideally you should have a degree in mechanical/software engineering or equivalent. Furthermore, we expect you to:</span></span></p> <ul> <li><span><span><span><span><span><span>Have at least five years of experience in condition monitoring </span></span><span><span>and are a certified vibration analyst ISO CAT III or higher.</span></span></span></span></span></span></li> <li><span><span>Possess strong knowledge and characteristics of vibration analysis.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Have capabilities of signal processing and acoustics.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Have knowledge with operational aspects and procedures concerning diagnostics and analyses.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Possess knowledge of other condition monitoring methodologies and technologies and how they can be applied to rotating equipment.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Feel comfortable working in an English-speaking environment (strong written and verbal skills in English needed).</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Comfortable in presenting technical topics to large audience members.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Possess strong mechanical knowledge of rotating equipment.</span></span></li> <li><span><span>Have worked previously with planetary stage gearboxes and drive trains with slow rotating journal bearings.</span></span></li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><span><span>Nordex adheres to a policy of equal employment opportunity.
