Summary
The purpose Directs daily accounts receivable operations to optimize cash collection, maintain accurate customer billing, and evaluate credit risk.

Duties and Responsibilities
• Lead and mentor AR specialists, establishing collection targets and tracking metrics (DSO, aging analysis).
• Oversee customer invoicing, cash application (check, ACH, credit card), and credit application reviews.
• Manage past-due account collections, high-risk account escalations, and bad-debt write-off requests.
• Reconcile the AR sub-ledger to the general ledger and prepare weekly/monthly cash flow forecasts.
• Partner with customer service and sales teams to resolve payment disputes and billing shortfalls.

Qualifications
• Proficiency with credit management processes, ERP finance modules, and MS Excel.

Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (or equivalent work experience) strongly preferred.
• 3–5+ years of accounts receivable and collections experience, with 1–2+ years in a supervisory role.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
