Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist

Job Requirements:

 

• Review, analyze, and upload Excel files to create timely and accurate A/R invoices
• Process Credits and Rebills, ensuring all revenue and cost is accounted for.
• Analyze charges that come thru for the Flexible and Defective Discount programs, then process against proper GL codes and maintain accurate reporting, while working closely with the sales and deductions teams 
• Use complex Hot Market billing system to process invoices throughout all hot market events.
• Collaborate with multiple departments to resolve billing and credit memo disputes.
• Work with appropriate staff to ensure orders are correct to capture accurate billing details.
• Post credit memos within ERP system, while also completing daily balancing 
• Calculate complex credit memos and reconcile any differences.
• Maintain organized records, including all emailed invoice/credit requests. 
• Able to meet rigorous deadlines and perform under pressure.
• Cross-train to preform task of the Fanatics E-commerce & Retail Billing Specialist

Required Skills

• 2+ years experience in billing or A/R role
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Broad accounting knowledge how use of GL accounts affects others downstream 
• Advanced computer skills, including Excel formulas and pivot tables, required.
• Flexible positive attitude, with ability to embrace organizational change in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization and time-management skills
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
• Ability to work overtime when necessary. 
• Previous A/R experience is a plus.
