<span>Job Summary:</span>
<p><span>• This position will help provide support for the Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSO) SkillsUSA and the program specialists that support SkillsUSA.<br/>• Provide assistance to the program specialist for monitoring our federal and state requirements.<br/>• Occasional in-state and out-of-state travel is required for this position.<br/><br/>The Arizona Department of Education currently utilizes a hybrid work environment, with up to two days of remote work (contingent upon business needs). Candidates should apply with an ability and willingness to work in-office up to five days per week as business needs necessitate. <br/></span></p>

<span>Job Duties:</span>
<p><span>• Perform specialized work in the area creating, managing data bases, and reports related to SkillsUSA and various CTE programs that support SkillsUSA<br/>• Compile programmatic data reports to meet requested need of the SkillsUSA State Advisor and/or CTE unit<br/>• Maintain website to ensure the SkillsUSA web page is updated and posted in a timely manner <br/>• Update and maintain conferences flyers and guideline materials<br/>• Perform administrative duties that support the SkillsUSA State Advisor; SkillsUSA activities inclusive of, but not limited to phone management, email, and schedule assistance, maintaining records, generating reports, etc.<br/>• Assist the planning and coordination of meetings and conferences, including, travel policies and procedures, printing policies and procedures<br/>• Develop, implement, and manage a procedure for identifying need, ordering, disseminating, storing, and keeping constant inventory of supplies for SkillsUSA<br/>• Conduct necessary research to answer investigative inquires to internal and external customers<br/>• Develop procedures as directed and/or needed for SkillsUSA in cooperation with CTE unit Deputy Associate Superintendent (DAS), Supervisor, and SkillsUSA State Advisor<br/>• Provide project management support in travel, procurement, federal and state reporting, database management and research for various programs in education and the SkillsUSA<br/>• Coordinate long range planning efforts for trainings, events, and sessions for the various CTE programs in education and the SkillsUSA State Advisor<br/>• Prepare materials, maintain database, and distribute PD certificates for all SkillsUSA trainings<br/>• Provide support and documentation to ensure the CTE programs are approved to have a CTSO<br/></span></p>
<span>Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):</span>
<p><span>Knowledge in: <br/>• Letter and memo composition<br/>• Common mathematical calculations utilized in spreadsheets/data analysis<br/>• English grammar and punctuation<br/>• Applicants must have a valid Arizona Fingerprint Clearance Card or the ability to obtain one prior to employment start date.<br/></span></p>
