Founded by Amherst, the full-service real estate solutions platform, Amherst StudioBuilt™ homes is an innovative approach to home development that utilizes offsite construction to create new housing supply at scale without sacrificing quality. StudioBuilt homes are constructed at Amherst’s housing studio in Cuero, Texas as well as partner studios across the Southeast and then installed on site. At full capacity, the Cuero facility will create over 250 manufacturing jobs, making Amherst the third largest employer in the area. The StudioBuilt team is comprised of experienced individuals from all trades, working to continuously improve the production process.
Be an ambassador of our people, our culture, and our core values.
Partner with managers in the areas of Employee relations (60%); Engagement and retention (20%); & Onboarding (20%)
Ensure alignment with corporate direction and HR policies
Collaborate with centers of excellence in recruitment, training, and development, & benefits and compensation to support the employee life-cycle
Be a resource for field employees in the Georgia, Florida, and Alabama areas
Demonstrate thorough knowledge of local and national employment law and investigation handling
Make recommendations for process improvements
Perform HR tasks in the Workday system
What you’ll need to have:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
At least 4 years of experience within the HR field with emphasis on employee relations, including investigations
Ability to travel between Atlanta area locations and occasionally to other states
Tech-savvy
Experience supporting client groups of at least 200 preferred
Experience working with geographically dispersed and matrixed employee populations preferred
Experience working as a separately-located HR team member, while actively engaging with the larger HR team preferred

The job involves sitting, standing, and walking. This is a full-time position. Days and typical hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. In-state travel required and some out-of-state travel to
