As a patient safety professional, this position will exercise responsibility and accountability for coordinating, collecting, disseminating, and intervening in a manner that anticipates & prevents safety concerns through proactive risk assessment, as well as responding after the fact to evaluate actual safety events within the Puget Sound Physician Clinical Network. This role will lead patient safety investigations within a multidisciplinary team to determine process improvements that will improve patient safety and eliminate preventable patient harm.

Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing, public health or related field or equivalent educ/experience
- 3 years of Direct patient care experience as RN, 1 year experience in ambulatory care preferred
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's Degree in nursing, public health or related field or equivalent educ/experience
- Certification in health care quality or safety upon hire
- Certification in Infection Prevention
- 1 year Developing policies and procedures

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
