A Brief Overview
The Senior Technical Project Manager is responsible for delivering technology solutions aligned with business needs. The position requires the ability to comprehend the business in order to manage and orchestrate projects and communicate the complexity in simple terms to technology teams. This role facilitates the breakdown and understanding of the technical components of a project.

What you will do

  • Leads complex projects involving technology and business resources
  • Develops detailed project plans and achievements, identifies resource requirements, performance indicators, and status reports
  • Creates and maintains integrated project plans, incorporates updates and changes to the plans, and prepares reports and presentations for leadership review
  • Resolves issues and problems throughout the project life cycle Monitors, tracks, and controls outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables
  • Acts as a mediator between stakeholders and team members regarding project efforts
  • Coordinates with partners to oversee capacity needs for project efforts and effectively communicates status updates and challenges to diverse audiences
  • Completes evaluations post-project, identifying best practices and process improvement opportunities

Education Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience preferred

Experience Qualifications

  • Typically 5+ years experience as a program or project manager, with a progressive record of successful delivery of complex solutions, systems, or services in a software development environment
  • Experience with Agile Methodologies

  • Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects
  • Understanding of interdependencies between technology, operations and business needs
  • Strong analytical, presentation and organizational skills
  • Ability to drive multiple project activities with varying complexity
  • Excellent communication skills, including presentation and facilitation skills
  • Strong problem-solving and quantitative skills
  • Demonstrable ability to manage people and resources, as well as work independently with limited supervision

Licenses and Certifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred

The salary range for this role is $85,500 to $205,200. The candidate’s final salary offer will be based on the candidate’s skills, education, work location and experience.

A candidate’s compensation may also include bonuses consistent with TriNet’s corporate bonus plan.
