Sr. QA Engineers are experienced professionals who develop software programs to test code and applications and have a passion for quality processes. They have in-depth knowledge and subject matter expertise in managing functional testing, automating client applications and qualification of client-side applications.
Sr. QA Engineers interact with internal and external teams to train them on the products, work on projects independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams to debug and reproduce issues.
In this role, you will mentor and guide others in the performance of all testing activities as well as encourage others to grow their skills. Sr. QA Engineers are creative problem solvers and are involved in continuously driving improvements in test automation frameworks as well as assessing and reporting on the software development processes adopted by projects through audits, reviews and inspections.
About the Role:
Work closely with developers and product managers to create high quality software solutions.
Design and implement complex test cases for web applications using tools like Selenium, Cypress.io, Protractor or similar.
Take ownership of automated tests and contribute towards improving them by applying continuous integration principles.
Create and maintain documentation for automated tests.
Identify bugs, suggest improvements, and take responsibility for monitoring the progress of issues until resolution.
Develop new test automation frameworks and integrate them into existing CI/CD pipelines.
Support developers with functional testing of application code.
Collaborate across multiple teams to provide technical guidance and resolve problems.
About You:
Degree in Computer Science or related field.
At least 3+ years experience as a QA engineer working with web applications.
Strong knowledge of programming languages such as C#.NET, JavaScript.
Knowledge of virtualization and cloud computing concepts (AWS);
Experience with testing automation frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress.io, Protractor.
Hands-On Experience with Performance Testing using JMeter or K6.
Understanding of application performance management and tuning.
Knowledge of tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, Azure.
Ability to analyze large amounts of data using various BI tools such as Tableau (Software) or Kibana.
