Global Head (m/f/d) of Occupational Safety, Environmental Protection and Senior Safety Engineer

<p>Your roles and responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Anchoring occupational safety at all levels of the MAHLE Group</li> <li>Ensuring Group objectives in the area of occupational safety</li> <li>Development of international standards, procedures and measures to reduce occupational safety risks and to prevent accidents and occupational diseases, ensuring rapid implementation.</li> <li>Auditing of production plants for compliance with specifications and identification of potential for improvement</li> <li>Ensuring legal conformity of measures taken for occupational safety and health protection</li> <li>Accident analysis and ensuring the implementation of adequate corrective measures.</li> <li>Development, implementation and tracking of performance indicators.</li> <li>Advisor and contact person for business units, regional and global business unit management and HSE officers in matters of legal compliance.</li> <li>Ensuring certification according to ISO 45001 in accordance with business requirements </li> <li>Team leadership of the global occupational safety team </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Your skills and strengths</p> <ul> <li>Successfully completed university studies in the field of occupational safety or comparable training with technical character and further training in the field of occupational safety</li> <li>Extensive professional experience in the field of occupational safety in a manufacturing international company</li> <li>Excellent expertise in occupational safety principles and methods </li> <li>Experience in creating work safety processes and instructions.</li> <li>Very good knowledge of health, occupational and fire safety legislation</li> <li>Experience in change management in the field of occupational safety</li> <li>Experience in accident investigation and reporting, root cause analysis in the production environment</li> <li>Leadership experience and skills ideally in an international context</li> <li>Experience in implementing ISO 45001 and certified auditor desirable</li> <li>Knowledge of country-specific occupational safety regulations, such as OHSAS/JISHA/DGUV/NRs in Brazil desirable</li> <li>Strong communication skills, assertiveness, achievers culture and persuasiveness, diplomacy</li> <li>"Hands on" mentality and focused on practical and actionable solutions</li> <li>Experienced handling of stakeholders at all levels</li> <li>Excellent oral and written English and German skills</li> <li>Willingness to travel internationally</li> <li>Functional reports to the Head of Sustainability and HSE and knows the dynamics of an international companies </li> </ul> <p> </p> <p> </p>    Do you have any questions?<br/>      <br/>    CORA.KUNZ@MAHLE.COM  <br/>    +49 711 501-13419  <p> </p>
