Serving three primary markets – passenger vehicle, commercial truck, and off-highway equipment – Dana provides the world's original-equipment manufacturers and the aftermarket with local product and service support through a network of nearly 100 engineering, manufacturing, and distribution facilities.</p> <h2>Position Summary</h2> <p>Dana is looking to hire a skilled and motivated Project Desing Leader to insert in Rivoli LV Desing Team to be resposble for design point of view of th development of transmission from start of the project to production</p> <p>Main Opportunities and Challenges</p> <p>Opportunity to be part of the Design Team to develop new transmissions typologies for prestigious OEM, working in a dynamic and motivated team.<br/> Working environment of a Global Organisation</p> <p> </p> <h2>Main Responsibilities</h2> <ul> <li>To be the the responsible ot tranmisssion design</li> <li>To manage interactions between chef engineer, design specialists, Component DFMEA team, virtual validation team and CAD team to guide transmission design accordly to system and customer specifications</li> <li>To work with design specialist to define thecical solutions </li> <li>To be responsible of transmission BOM</li> <li>To be responsible of main compionents development ( from TRA’s with supplier to production kick-off)</li> <li>To be design reference person during develomepnt ( from virtual analysis to testing phanse)</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h2>Job Requirements</h2> <p>Education:  University master degree - Mechanical</p> <p>Professional Background:</p> <p>•           Min. 3 years in Automotive companies</p> <p>•           Experience in design roles and project technical management</p> <p>•           Experines in mechanical components manufactirung process  </p> <p>•           Experineces in Virtual validation report knowledge</p> <h2>Hard Skills</h2> <p><u>Essential</u>:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in mechanincal construnctions and  transmission design</li> <li>Knowledge of material and matufacturing process employed in transmissions</li> <li>Good understanding of mechanical, electric and hydraulic schematic circuits</li> <li>DFMEA competences</li> <li>Automotive development process knowledge ( design and validation phases, from design to serier components process…)</li> <li>Proficient in both English and Italian</li> </ul> <h2>Considered as a plus</h2> <p> </p> <ul> <li>Able to take decisions to define best technical solution with limit direct resposnable superviosion</li> <li>2D and 3D skills</li> <li>Basic knowledge of vehicle control systems including CAN, strategy, calibration, and software release process</li> <li>Awareness of ISO26262 / Functional Safety and Requirements mgt. tools</li> </ul> <h2>Soft Skills</h2> <ul> <li>Stakeholder management</li> <li>Ability to communicate and effectively</li> <li>Sound analytical and organizational skills with ability to prioritise effectively</li> <li>Forward-thinking and results-driven</li> <li>Able to work under pressure</li> </ul> <p>“If you are not contacted within 60 days after your application, the search should be considered filled.
