Senior Data Engineer

As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the Global Business Intelligence programs using the azure Suite of Analytics & Data platforms. The focus of the role is on the technical aspects and implementation of data gathering, integration and model design, with some report and dashboard creation.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Create data products and/or data assets which answer key business questions and serve as the foundation for different tools and systems.
• Build architecture and flow diagrams representing the movement, processing and validation of data across systems. Model and scale databases, ensuring the flow of data within the organization.
• Organize and participate in regular meetings with the local and remote project teams for proper alignment.
• Communicate clearly about data sources, their reliability, the interpretation of data fields while understanding how data processing design choices may impact analysis and application tools e.g. pricing tools and system(s) downstream.
• Work with business users/managers, interpret requirements and convert these into productive, practical and robust data reports/applications.

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Computer Science, Information Technology.
• Solid experience working with Microsoft Azure technologies.
• Experience in designing and building architecture components for data ecosystems.
• Ability to identify areas for improvement. Recommend changes and solutions.
• English proficiency (written/read/spoken).

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart: 

• Azure Repos knowledge.
• Experience working with Power BI.
