IT Concepts, Inc. (ITC) is seeking an experienced Program Analyst to support our VA-ESOM- End Point Support and Operations Monitoring contract across the United States. The VA is responsible for providing comprehensive onsite and remote support to IT customers across all VA Administrations and special program offices, including direct support of over 340,000 VA employees and thousands of contractors who use government-furnished IT equipment and infrastructure. The VA provides support staff across 100+ CONUS and OCONUS locations, including difficult-to-accommodate locales, such as high cost of living or under-supported economic areas, where VA offices or facilities may be located and require onsite services.
Responsibilities:
- Provide subject matter expertise (SME) to identify, analyze, implement, and adapt program analysis & reporting. Translate project management details into actionable project insights.
- Identify project needs and gaps to ensure optimal and secure operations. Develop standards to be leveraged across the contract consistently and unambiguously.
- Participate in cross-functional project team. Prepare and present program status reports, briefings, patterns and trends, and/or recommended actions on project duration adherence and successful project objectives.
- Create standard and ad-hoc program analysis employing data discovery, consulting, analysis, and summarized snapshots (e.g., Weekly Status, Project Health Dashboard, Risk Register, Project KPIs, Action items, discrepancy & mitigating actions).
- Collaborate with other VA ESOM Contract Business Operations teams as needed to scale VA OIT mission “Modernize & standardize IT Services & Support across VA.”
- Uses tact, diplomacy, and patience when communicating and dealing with others, such as co-workers, managers, supervisors, other OTG team members, VA ESOM Contract team members, and users/stakeholders.
Location: This position can be performed in a remote setting within the United States and will support Eastern Time working hours.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or equivalent (8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education)
- 5 years of experience with project and/or business management.
- Experience with
- MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access)
- Status reports, briefings, recommendations and project deliverables.
- Project monitoring, metrics, issues and risks management.
- Knowledge management tools like SharePoint.
- Project Management tools like Jira.
- Communications:
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Oral and written technical and non-technical to a variety of audiences
- Present information and ideas so others will understand
Clearance:
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust Clearance.
- Must be US Citizen or Green Card Holder.
