About the Opportunity
The Data & Student Services Associate provides support to the College of Engineering (COE) Assistant Dean/Sr Director, Co-op Leadership, and faculty Co-op Coordinators in the day-to-day workflow and effective operation of the co-op program, assists faculty Co-op Coordinators with projects to prepare students and guide co-op employer partners through the hiring process, and manages data reporting and administrative support for a large fast-paced team of 40+ co-op faculty and staff. Individuals in this role drive process improvements, building greater capacity through streamlined workflows and efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or minimum 2 years of equivalent professional experience in an academic or business/industry environment.
- Demonstrated strong organizational and time management skills, including attention to detail and the ability to manage projects and complete tasks for multiple faculty and staff.
- High level of proficiency with technology including Excel (complex formulas and logic).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are expected with the ability to explain and distil technical concepts / processes in lay terms.
- Willingness and desire to learn and contribute to the design of new processes, systems, and tools.
- Comfortability working both independently and collaboratively among a team with diverse personalities and strengths.
Candidate should enjoy problem solving and be very good at troubleshooting.
