With sustainability constantly evolving we take a dynamic approach to make a real impact across our value chain, focusing on responsible sourcing, minimizing our footprint and connecting people from all walks of life. </em></strong></p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong><em>The internship starts on September 4th 2023, and is for a period of 5-6 months.</em></strong><strong> </strong></p><p><strong><em>To start with, the position of Global Supply Chain eCommerce intern sits comfortably in the Global e-Commerce Supply Chain and Operations team. An incredible diverse team that helps each other learn, grow and develop. Just how we like it! And as a Supply Chain eCommerce intern you will be asked to support the team in driving the best consumer experience for our main channels, which are among others Direct-to-Consumer, Online pure players and several Marketplaces. Also, you will have the opportunity to contribute to or lead projects. For this, we don’t just need you to be a knowledgeable professional but also strongly rely on your interpersonal skills as well as your drive for success. Know that you’ll have a crucial role in creating and protecting the impact we look for in our value chain. With this said we like you to take responsibility over the following tasks:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong><em>Day to day escalation management of our Consumer care (close contact with supervisors, identify and report risks when needed)</em></strong></li><li><em><strong>Overseeing our order flow from A to Z (Payments, open orders, stock allocation, on time dispatch, returns) by being in close contact with the warehouses, IT teams and local supply chain representatives </strong></em></li><li><strong><em>KPI Reporting on daily, weekly and monthly basis using our operational performance dashboards (Reporting, monitoring, analysing & improved suggestions)</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Challenging the status quo to ensure we drive the best consumer experience</em></strong></li></ul><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong><em>We are looking for a pioneer with a drive for excellence. Someone that holds themselves accountable and doesn’t shy away from responsibility. Given the nature of the role we feel it’s important for you to have a willingness to learn as well as a solid understanding of your own added value. We thrive in diverse teams and look for people that appreciate that as much as we do. We can give you a list of “must haves”, however that’s not how we view your candidacy. We do, of course, take into consideration your English fluency and your extracurricular or academic experience in supply chain management or similar fields, but ultimately we look at the bigger picture. But to give you a bit of guidance as to what we feel is needed in this role, we’ll share our “nice to have” list with you:</em></strong></p><ul><li><strong>Experience analysing, reporting and presenting of data</strong></li><li><strong><em>Outstanding results in study and in broader curricular activities like: sports, associations or your own business, and have a hands-on mentality. </em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Good communication skills in English</em></strong></li><li><strong><em>Affinity/ experience with Excel, Powerpoint, and SAP ERP</em></strong></li><li><strong>You are currently studying towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree</strong><strong><em> </em></strong></li></ul><p><strong><em>Important:</em></strong> <strong><em>To be considered as a candidate for this internship,</em></strong> </p><ul><li>EU/EEA students: you <strong>need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. </strong>In case of voluntarily internship purpose, a tri-parties agreement may be requested to be signed by you and your university. </li><li><strong>Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement</strong>. <strong>The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).</strong> <strong> </strong> </li></ul><p><strong><em>This position is an intern role under JDE’s international headquarter, only applications in English will be considered!
