Your contribution to Prysmian's Success: 

We are looking for a Production Manager to join our plant in Merlino (LO).

Reporting directly to the Plant Director, you will:

• Manage a team of four shift leaders and approximately one hundred non-desk workers, fostering a culture of safety and excellence.

• Monitor key performance indicators, address deviations, and ensure quality, timely delivery, and optimal output.

• Detect process anomalies promptly and implement corrective actions to maintain high-quality standards.

• Oversee facilities, processes, and product standards, conducting line inspections to ensure compliance.

• Champion HSE regulations and cultivate a safety-first culture.

• Coordinate training sessions to enhance employee awareness of company and local procedures.

• Work closely with other departments to ensure synergy and leverage technical expertise.

• Cooperate with the planning and scheduling team to review and address risks in the production plan.
   

You are the right fit if you have/are: 

• Strong communication & interpersonal skills 

• Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills 

• Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset 

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.

• Proficiency in Italian and English.

• At least 5 years of experience in production management.

• Results-driven with a strong ability to navigate a complex manufacturing environment.

• Familiarity with Six Sigma and lean manufacturing principles.
