About the role

Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer to join our Plant based in Merlino (LO). The successful candidate, directly reporting to the Plant Manager and being part of a team made up of 150 people.

In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • Support in technical product development by identifying potential specification for improvements.
  • Analyze product specifications, parts drawings, and other engineering data to develop new production processes, estimate time requirements for each step, and prepares operation sheets.
  • Analyze existing production processes and support the development of recommendations for changes to working methods or operation sequences that will minimize risks, costs, and wastage; increase yields and productivity; and improve the quality and consistency of final products.
  • Work closely with the operators, production manager and quality team in the plant for analyzing and solving any issues that may arise in all the production phases.

Your experience and background:

  • Degree in Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronic, Materials, Industrial, …)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in manufacturing field, preferably in the production area.
  • Previous Cable making knowledge will be considered as a plus.
  • Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
