In this role, you will need previous working experience supporting a finance team and the systems they use to perform day to day transactions. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills to provide updates, vendor instructions, requirements and user documentation.
Everyday, you will be building partnerships with the finance team to effectively support their finance systems while managing the daily financial transactions. You will also work with vendors on technical and process improvements or updates requested by the finance team.

The Finance Business System Analyst (BSA), position is a senior analyst role within the IT department and has responsibility for supporting, analyzing, and automating the Accounting and Finance functions at Illumio. The BSA acts as a liaison between IT and Finance to understand the structure, policies, and operations of the Finance domain. This individual is expected to collaborate and recommend solutions that enable the Finance organization to achieve its goals. In this role, the BSA will own ERP processes focusing on core system design. The BSA is seen as the bridge between the business problems and the technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Production support of the NetSuite Financials (ERP) system and all core integrations.

Responsible for delivering quality technical/functional requirement documents to internal and external development partners as needed.

Responsible for proper testing of new or enhanced software solutions and reports, in preparation of delivery to the Business stakeholders for user acceptance testing.

Driving projects of the supported services to successful completion and implementation. Works with other Business analysts to assist in new projects and implementations. Executing actions so that the supported services meet the required service levels to support business strategy.

Assisting in and executing prioritization and planning of activities within the role, in line with the company’s goals and objectives, resulting in on-time delivery of solutions based on the supported services. Delivers the outcome of new or revised additions and/or enhancements of applications and components of IT solutions relating to the supported services on time, on budget and delivers critical functionality in support of major business projects.

Provide subject matter expertise to review existing workflows and rules and recommend improvements based upon "best practices".
Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering / Computer Science / Information Systems or an Accounting degree or equivalent work experience.

8+ years demonstrated success in analysis and documenting business requirements with NetSuite, Coupa, Concur, Equity Edge or similar applications, with emphasis in the full cycle of requirement documentation, testing and deployment.

Administration experience of NetSuite, Coupa, and Concur including workflow and report creation.

Experience working with Global ERP implementations spanning multiple regions.

This is a senior analyst role able to manage the daily production activities and issues, providing acceptable solutions to user community, make sure the requirements are well documented and understood. Should be a team player, partnering with key users, developers and other individual contributors. Project priorities, schedule conflicts, time allocation on various tasks/projects will be done with the supervisor approval.

Experience writing medium complex SQL queries for troubleshooting or ad-hoc reports.

Expertise with Excel.
