Our mission is to help admins manage their company’s full lifecycle, from setup to activation and churn, through simple, inclusive experiences that save time and support growth.</p><p dir="ltr">You will work on:</p><ul> <li><p dir="ltr">Core features like company setup/self-onboarding, compliance checks, fraud management.</p></li> <li><p dir="ltr">Managing multi-establishment structures, enabling oversight of multiple related companies.</p></li> <li><p dir="ltr">Handling essential HRIS data and company lifecycle, exposing APIs and domain events used across PayFit.</p></li> </ul><ul> </ul><ul> </ul><p dir="ltr"><br/></p><p dir="ltr">The domain spans three countries and offers strategic challenges around architecture and scalability.</p><p dir="ltr">Your mission will be to design and deliver high-quality, maintainable, and scalable software while driving technical excellence and collaboration across teams.</p><p dir="ltr">You will:</p><ul> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Lead the design, development, and maintenance of robust, production-ready systems with performance and scalability in mind.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to shape impactful features and align on product and technical priorities.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Drive architectural decisions and contribute to the evolution of PayFit’s engineering practices through documentation, pairing, and mentorship.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Raise the bar on code quality, testing, observability, and developer experience across squads.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">Foster a culture of learning, care, and continuous improvement within your team and beyond.</p></li> </ul><p></p><p><strong><br/></strong></p><p><strong>This role is for you if:<br/></strong></p><ul> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You have 5+ years of engineering experience, strong skills in <strong>TypeScript/Node.js</strong> (or similar), and a solid understanding of system design for scalable, reliable, and maintainable production systems.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You are experienced with distributed systems, <strong>event-driven architectures, or Domain-Driven Design</strong>, and write clean, well-tested, production-ready code.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You promote high standards in <strong>testing, monitoring, and observability</strong> to ensure system reliability and performance.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You lead technical projects across squads, coordinate stakeholders, and effectively communicate through RFCs, ADRs, and architecture diagrams.</p></li> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You use data-driven insights to make decisions, continuously improve outcomes, and align your work with business priorities by focusing on impactful efforts.</p></li> </ul><p><br/></p><p></p><p dir="ltr"><strong>It would be great if you also:</strong><br/></p><ul> <li dir="ltr"><p dir="ltr">You have led or contributed to technical
