We look for team members that are not only strong in their own aptitudes but also who care deeply about EVERSANA, our people, clients and most importantly, the patients we serve.   We are EVERSANA.  </p><h3>Job Description</h3><p><strong>THE POSITION</strong><strong>: </strong></p><p>The Senior Accountant is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting transactions and reconciliations including posting entries to the general ledger, analyzing data, managing month-end close processes and collaborating with employees throughout the organization. This position also works with third party auditors to ensure compliance and accurate financial reporting.</p><p><strong>ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:</strong></p><p>Our employees are tasked with delivering excellent business results through the efforts of their teams.  These results are achieved by:</p><ul><li>Initially transitioning outsourced accounting function in house</li><li>Responsibility for meeting established month end close deadlines for preparing journal entries across multiple jurisdictions.</li><li>Leading the resolution of issues on all assigned accounts and reconciliations to ensure proper and accurate reporting.</li><li>Overseeing compliance activity and supporting other departments in relation to GL activity and review.</li><li>Preparing of consolidated reports for the business.</li><li>Preparing audit schedules and work with auditors on queries.</li><li>Recommending and implementing improvements to accounting controls, procedures and policies.</li><li>Identifying opportunities and make recommendations for process and cost improvements.</li><li>Assisting global team with consolidation processes throughout the close period.</li><li>Supporting deployment of D365 to European entities</li><li>Assisting with M&amp;A activity.</li><li>Serving as backup to other roles within the Finance department as needed.</li><li>Performing ad hoc projects and duties as required.</li></ul><p><em>Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this position.</em></p><p><strong>EXPECTATIONS OF THE JOB:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Travel – </strong>Ad hoc but infrequent</li><li><strong>Hours</strong> - 40 Hours per week, 5 days of the week</li></ul><p> </p><p><em><em>The above list reflects the general details necessary to describe the expectations of the position and shall not be construed as the only expectations that may be assigned for the position.</em></em></p><p><em><em>An individual in this position must be able to successfully perform the expectations listed above. </em></em></p><h3>Qualifications</h3><p><strong>MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:</strong></p><p>The requirements listed below are representative of the experience, education, knowledge, skill and/or abilities required.</p><ul><li><strong>Education</strong> – Qualified / Finalist accountant</li><li><strong>Experience and/or Training -</strong> Minimum of 3-5 years in an accounting role.
