Your Career

As a Director of FinOps, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial landscape of our innovative SaaS cybersecurity product environment. This dynamic position demands a blend of business acumen and technical expertise, as you will spearhead the development and implementation of strategies for cost optimization and financial efficiency within our cloud infrastructure. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, fostering an environment of shared ownership and accountability for achieving our FinOps goals.

Your Impact

  • Develop and implement innovative strategies for cost optimization and financial efficiency in our cloud infrastructure, leveraging your expertise in cloud pricing models and cost management best practices.
  • Partner with diverse teams, including engineering, product management, and DevOps, to ensure financial operations are aligned with business objectives and deliver maximum value to our customers.
  • Provide invaluable guidance in the design phase of new products and features, proactively aligning financial considerations with business needs and ensuring long-term financial sustainability.
  • Oversee the financial aspects of our large-scale GCP cloud service, optimizing resource utilization and driving cost-effective solutions while maintaining service excellence.
  • Champion the integration of financial considerations into the development lifecycle, establishing clear cost-related metrics and fostering a culture of accountability across all departments.
  • Create insightful financial reports and dashboards for various stakeholders, including senior leadership,effectively communicating key financial metrics and trends to drive informed decision-making.
  • Spearhead initiatives for the automation of financial reporting and cost optimization processes, leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to strike a balance between cost control and technological innovation, ensuring the long-term competitiveness and financial health of our products.

Qualifications

Your Experience

  • 7+ years of experience in financial operations, preferably within a technology or cloud-based environment.
  • Proven leadership experience with a demonstrably successful track record in driving financial performance and implementing strategic initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and associated costs, ideally with experience in GCP.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, adept at translating complex financial concepts to diverse audiences across technical and non-technical backgrounds.
  • Proficiency in financial and BI tools such as Tableau, Looker Data Studio, or similar platforms.
  • A strategic thinker with a data-driven approach, capable of balancing financial objectives with technological innovation and future-proofing the financial health of our products.
