Required Qualifications
- must be an actively enrolled student not graduating prior to the start of the Summer Internship Program in May; or
- if graduating from a bachelor's degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester; or
- if graduating from a master’s degree program prior to the start of the internship, starting a graduate degree program in the upcoming summer or fall semester)
- must be pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree in mechanical engineering, process engineering or civil engineering and be a current junior or above (rising senior or above as of the program start in Summer 2026) or a graduate student
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- working knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- ability to analyze information and be detail oriented
- ability to work independently and productively
- ability to think outside the box with regards to problem solving
- ability to present findings in a concise, high-level manner
- ability to meet deadlines
- excellent planning and organizational skills
- ability to work well with others and be a team player
Preferred Qualifications
- knowledge of fluid mechanics and thermal processing
