The Fanatics Accounting Shared Services group is seeking 3 Accounting Interns based in Jacksonville, Florida and Fanatics Commerce is seeking 1 Accounting Intern in Jacksonville and 1 Accounting Intern in Tampa. All these Internships will help support our various business entities and partake in an enterprise–wide Intern Program. You will have the opportunity to work with and learn from highly specialized industry groups including Royalty & Revenue Share Accounting, Record to Report (General Ledger), Service Delivery Optimization Team (SDOT), Wholesale and Venue Partners teams. The Fanatics Internship Program has a strong desire to provide you with an environment where you can learn from industry experts, develop a professional foundation, and receive mentorship, support, and professional guidance from our various departments and teams.  Internship General Job Description: -Provide accounting, processing, and analytical support for accounting activities. -Specific responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: collection, tracking, analyzing, reporting and reconciliation of accounting activity on a daily, weekly and monthly basis  -Assists with month-end close process including preparation of various journal entries and accruals of assigned areas  -Assist with preparation of balance sheet account reconciliations   -Aggregate sales and royalty information from various systems and sources ensuring completeness and accuracy  -Provide support to finance, licensing, and other internal business partners, and obtain a working knowledge of all reporting requirements by partner/ league/ agency  -Monitor and address payment discrepancies, scrutinize credit card charges, and document returns  -Communicate with clients regarding payments, refunds, and statements  -Demonstrate prioritization skills for key tasks and projects  -Actively seek professional guidance and constructive feedback, and display a desire to gain industry knowledge  -Be curious, analytical, and show both creativity and individual initiative while approaching problems with a solution-seeking mindset  -Demonstrate Fanatics core values and maintain an environment of mutual respect and collaboration  
Additional duties as assigned by business vertical Manager:  -Develop in-depth knowledge of systems, data, and reporting tools as well as understanding of the business processes related to assigned general ledger accounts, including transaction flow  -Assist with audit requests from our external auditors
