Responsibilities

The Project Manager organizes, directs, and manages contract operations support functions for a self-hosted ServiceNow SaaS platform in a disconnected environment. The Project Manager shall prepare long and short-range plans for the systems’ Operations & Maintenance (O&M), upgrades and for necessary support resources.

 

The Project Manager shall also be responsible for:

  • The overall management of the specific tasks and ensuring that the technical solutions and activities are following the performance work standards of the task.
  • Developing comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation.
  • Facilitating communication and collaboration between team members, stakeholders, and leadership.
  • Engaging and managing stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicating project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders effectively.
  • Managing expectations and ensures stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Driving continuous improvement through retrospectives and data-driven insights.
  • Identifying and implementing process enhancements to optimize project delivery.
  • Promoting a culture of learning and innovation within the team.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT Management (or equivalent related field experience)
  • PMP certification required
  • 5 years or more, of relevant experience supporting Enterprise Information Technology with 3 years in an Agile Environment
  • Experience managing project workloads on AWS cloud infrastructure
  • Project Management experience in an Operations and Maintenance environment
  • 3 or more years of experience in a client facing role; federal clients preferred 
  • Knowledge of developing, implementing, and monitoring IT program and project delivery 
  • Proficiency in MS Office Proficiency with MS Office Suite, and SharePoint 
  • Positive attitude, willingness to learn and apply new skills and approaches, team player
  • Strong communication (written and oral), presentation, organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to take initiative, manage own workload, and assume responsibility for tasks 
  • Able to multi‐task, handle multiple projects, and meet internal and client deadlines
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment and innovative thinking

 

Preferred Requirements

  • Experience with ServiceNow and/or similar SaaS platform management experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience with federal government agencies and IT related projects
  • Experience in developing and implementing business process transformation programs (digital transformation)
  • Experience supporting Sponsor business transformation, IT systems and/or business process improvement requirements
  • Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) certification
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Professional Scrum Master (PSM) preferred.
  • Understanding of the ServiceNow platform and applications (ITSM, SPM, HR, CSM, etc.)
  • Proficient in Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow Agile)
  • Demonstrated success in leading and implementing organizational change initiatives, preferably in technology-driven environments

 

Clearance Requirements:

  • Must have active TS/SCI with Poly
