Sales Audit Analyst

Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

Experience:

• Cash handling reconciliation.
• Sales audit or revenue accounting.
• Multi-location retail, restaurant, or franchise operations is a plus.
• Experience with third-party delivery reconciliation (DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.) is a plus.

 

System Knowledge:

• Familiarity with POS systems (like NCR, Sicom, Simphony, etc.).
• Experience with banking portals and payment processors.
• Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, VBA’s, etc.) for reconciliation work.

 

Responsibilities:

• Manages and monitors cash handling and reconciliation processes across multiple locations.
• Reviews daily cash deposit reports and addresses shortages with district managers.
• Makes sure cash control procedures are followed at the store level.
• Responsible for daily sales audits and reconciling cash, credit cards, and third-party deliveries like DoorDash, Uber Eats, etc.
• Handles discrepancies and works with managers to resolve issues.
• Works closely with AR and accounting teams to ensure financial accuracy.

• Problem-Solving: Able to troubleshoot reconciliation problems independently. Suggests process improvements to enhance cash handling and control.
• Organizational Skills: Manages daily, weekly, and monthly reconciliation tasks across multiple locations.
• Integrity & Confidentiality: Trustworthy with sensitive financial data. Committed to enforcing company policies without compromise.
