Exemption Status: Exempt
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 wage range. You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.
AttainX is seeking a highly skilled Senior Scrum Master to lead and guide our Agile development teams. The Senior Scrum Master will be responsible for overseeing the Scrum process and ensuring that the team adheres to SAFe Agile values, principles, and practices. The ideal candidate should have at least seven years of experience in a Senior Scrum Master role and hold a SAFe Advanced Scrum Master (ASM) certification from Scaled Agile.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Minimum of (7) seven years of experience in a Senior Scrum Master role.
- SAFe Advanced Scrum Master certification required (will be verified).
- SAFe for Government Certification a plus (not required).
- Advanced knowledge of Agile methodologies, Scrum, and Lean principles.
- Experience using data analytics techniques and team metrics that inform constant performance and quality improvements.
- Evidence of excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to drive change, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and lead by example.
- Experience with various web-based software applications including Jira, Microsoft Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident with the ability to obtain a public trust security clearance.
Job Duties
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Sprint Retrospectives.
- Act as a servant leader to the team, removing obstacles, and ensuring the team remains focused on the sprint goal.
- Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles, values, and practices.
- Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure the Product Backlog is well-groomed, prioritized, and reflects the team's priorities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure transparency and communication of progress.
- Identify and escalate impediments to the team’s progress and work with the team to resolve them.
- Ensure the team is continuously improving and striving for excellence through feedback, retrospectives, and data-driven metrics.
- Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to Agile methodologies.
- Provide visibility into the team’s progress and sprint goals to stakeholders and management.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure successful delivery of projects.
