We’re looking for an experienced leader to oversee our People Analytics team, with a strong lens on translating strategic needs to operational excellence within our organization. This pivotal role collaborates with senior HR leadership and cross-functional teams, driving metrics-driven decisions that align workforce planning  and organizational priorities. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable managing competing priorities and stakeholders while also navigating challenging or ambiguous scenarios with credibility and influence, and a mind towards effective change management. You will be based hybrid in San Jose, California (going into the office Tuesday-Thursday) and manage a global team. You will be responsible for:

• Translating strategic priorities into key People analytics, insights, and dashboard solutions on time and on plan, to inform timely HR and business decisions and enable workforce optimization.
• Collaborating with senior HR leadership, IT, Finance, and cross-functional teams to enhance data pipelines, manage attrition forecasts, develop accurate dashboards, scale operational efficiencies, and align People strategy with dynamic business goals.
• Leading the Tableau dashboarding team and People Analytics consultants, building functional credibility and addressing data quality concerns.
• Owning accountability for tracking and evolving KPIs, including attrition rates, headcount projections, productivity metrics, and workforce trends.
• Balancing change management challenges with innovative solutions, ensuring stakeholders feel supported and respected.

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 7+ years (or 5+ years with advanced degree) of experience in People/HR functions, with expertise in analytics, strategic planning, and workforce operations.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, and Tableau.
• Experience leading operational and change management initiatives in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a talent for influencing partners and guiding impactful yet unpopular decisions.
• Resilience, adaptability, and a forward-focused mindset to meet evolving business demands.

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Experience with Visier and ERP systems.
• Deep understanding of data pipelines and the HR analytics domain.

Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.

Base Pay Range$147,000—$210,000 USD
