Senior IT Project Manager (onsite - Amsterdam)

You will play a crucial role in driving innovation for one of the key EU Institutions' projects.<br/></p> <ul><li>Supporting projects with fast delivery life cycle using Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies; </li><li>Supporting project planning, monitoring and management &amp; reporting for a software development project;</li><li> Supporting business change management process;</li><li>Controlling and managing a project repository of documents, other deliverables, and their versions for a software development project;</li><li>Preparing and supporting project board/steering committee level communication for project governance;</li><li>Assessing project risk and issue management processes;</li><li>Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of detailed project schedules in MS Project, including resource planning, under the guidance of client's project management;</li><li>Responsible for drafting periodic status reporting (excluding financials) for client’s project management and internal governance bodies;</li><li>Responsible for the controlled maintenance of the project repository of documents and other deliverables.</li></ul> <h3>Requirements</h3> <ul><li>Experience /Familiar with Agile Scrum/Kanban methodologies and supporting projects with fast delivery life cycle;</li><li>Expert with Microsoft Project as a tool for planning and tracking of project work;</li><li>Familiar with Atlassian JIRA, Azure DevOps ,Portfolio ++ and Confluence as a delivery platform;</li><li>Familiar with the role of configuration and document management in the context of a software development project;</li><li>Experience in supporting project planning, monitoring and management reporting for a software development project;</li><li>Experience in supporting business change management process;</li><li>Experience in controlling and managing a project repository of documents; other deliverables, and their versions for a software development project;</li><li>Experience in preparing and supporting project board/steering committee level communication for project governance;</li><li>Familiarity with project risk and issue management processes;</li><li>IT PMO experience;</li><li>Strong communications skills: written, pictorial, and presentational;</li><li>Proactive and strong team player;</li><li>Familiar with content management systems.</li></ul> <p><strong>Nice-to-have:</strong></p><ul><li>Agile/Prince2 foundation or above is desirable but not essential;</li><li>Agile/ Scrum master certification is desirable but not essential.</li></ul>
