Job Description:

DTN is seeking a strategic, results-oriented Senior Director of Migration Strategy and Execution Leader to define and operationalize the multi-year roadmap that transitions customers from legacy solutions to modern, outcome-based offerings. This role owns the definition of migration cohorts, timing, and organizational readiness inputs, working cross-functionally to ensure alignment and accountability across Sales, Product, Customer Experience, Marketing, and Operations. While this role is critical to orchestrating and aligning migration efforts, it does not replace product launch or go-to-market ownership. The leader will serve as a cross-functional facilitator and decision enabler, not the direct owner of upstream inputs such as pricing, feature readiness, or product packaging.  This highly visible role will report directly to the SVP of Customer Experience.  The ideal candidate combines strategic thinking with disciplined execution and thrives in complex, matrixed environments.

Key Responsibilities

Migration Strategy & Planning

  • Define and maintain the overall migration roadmap, including customer cohorts, timing, and key milestones
  • Establish criteria for segmentation and prioritization based on product readiness, customer value, and business objectives
  • Set target dates and success metrics; lead plan pivots and trade-off discussions as needed
  • Serve as the primary architect of the plan that feeds execution activities across the business

Cross-Functional Leadership & Accountability

  • Collaborate with Product teams to align migration plans with product GA, EOL, and feature readiness
  • Drive organizational readiness by defining input requirements and holding stakeholders accountable for timely delivery
  • Coordinate with Marketing and Customer Account Owners (CSM / AM) to ensure aligned customer communications, onboarding, and outreach strategies
  • Partner with Finance on modeling, revenue impact, and cost-saving plans tied to migration progress
  • Escalate risks and gaps and hold owners of upstream deliverables to account

Execution Oversight

  • Own and drive customer outreach, ensuring timely and effective engagement across migration cohorts
  • Guide the planning of CX resources and incentive structures to support migration success at scale
  • Serve as the central coordination point for interdependent activities like contract transitions, de-provisioning, and system optimization
  • Support decision-making on trade-offs between product capability, customer needs, and business value

Program Governance & Reporting

  • Lead the reporting of migration pipeline performance (e.g., NRR, churn, contract migration status)
  • Track and manage usage and adoption metrics at a cohort and product level
  • Contribute to forecasting and progress reporting across internal stakeholders and leadership
  • Ensure migration program success through proactive risk mitigation, dependency management, and stakeholder alignment

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in customer lifecycle programs, strategic planning, or transformation leadership in a SaaS or data-focused environment
  • Proven success leading large-scale customer migration or product transition programs
  • Strong analytical and planning skills, with the ability to build and maintain complex roadmaps and frameworks
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive accountability without direct authority
  • Experience balancing product readine
