Job Description

Key Responsibilities  

• Work closely with Product team to create, deploy, and update suite of data products.  

• Conduct bespoke data analyses as needed for customers and internal stakeholders.  

• Create compelling data visuals to accompany analytics to support new deals and revenue retention.  

• Provide internal and external support and education around created analytics as needed.  

• Create and maintain automated, high-velocity, data ETL flows to ensure reliable error-free data transmission to customers.  

• Implement best practice data architecture and security models into analytics and ETL processes.  

• Work with product and analytics owners to ensure accurate feature implementation and visual design  

• Write readable, maintainable and unit tested analytics code  

Qualifications

Core Requirements  

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis and data transformation.  

• 2+ years of experience in data processing & ETL pipelines 

• 2+ years of experience in Python  

• 2+ years of experience in containerized, cloud-native applications 

• Git and SSH competency  

• Familiar with RESTful APIs and API design  

• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Excel and advanced functions. 

• Expert knowledge of data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

• Proactive engagement with product, account management, and sales 

• The ability to work autonomously and in a team  

• Excellent written communication skills  

• Attention to detail in data, code, code review, and documentation  

Additionally Desirable  

• Familiarity with Pyspark & Databricks 

• Familiarity with databases – PostgreSQL, MySQL  

• Network application security experience  

• Deploying to and working in AWS EC2, ECS, Lambda  

• Setting up and working with CI/CD pipelines and a release-often mindset  

• Fearlessness when it comes to diving into legacy systems
