Description

    

The Senior Practice Manager is responsible for the organization and management of multiple geriatric medical practice hubs, ensuring high-quality, efficient health care services. This role serves as a market leader and subject matter expert (SME), providing training and guidance on a national level.


Main Job Functions and Responsibilities:


Multi-Site Management:

  • Oversee operations and systems for 2 medical practice hubs.
  • Ensure consistency and quality across both managed hubs.
  • Serve as a market leader and SME in practice management.
  • Represent the practice and company with community, patients, and at national forums.

Training and Development:

  • Develop and deliver training programs for practice managers and staff on a national level.
  • Mentor and coach assigned disciplines (Practice Managers, Operations, and Clinical staff)

Operational Management:

  • Manage overall practice office operations and systems, including front and back office.
  • Oversee office vendors, EHR systems, and billing vendor contacts.
  • Coordinate closely with Clinical Market Dyad Partner (MMD, AMD etc.)
  • Lead and attend various operational huddles/meetings.
  • Coordinate logistics for team meetings and events.
  • Develop agendas for weekly clinical and operational meetings.
  • Ensure adherence to office policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement new office workflows, policies, and procedures to improve performance.
  • Control and manage the Medical Supply and Medication administration practices.
  • Manage patient Eligibility in partnership with Ops Leader
  • Track and manage patient grievances

Staff Management:

  • Coordinate staff scheduling and management with shared clinical and office responsibilities.
  • Evaluate and manage staff performance.
  • Recruit, select, and train office staff members.
  • Support training of providers and care team members.
  • Assign and monitor administrative tasks among office staff.
  • Create and submit Staff Assignments in EMR and have direct oversight of Clinical Competency for field nursing.

Resource Management:

  • Determine clinical support needs and allocate resources to enable successful task performance.
  • Monitor and maintain office and staff inventory and supplies.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Prepare operational reports and schedules to manage performance.
  • Handle patient inquiries and complaints.
  • Provide backup and ongoing support of office workload as needed.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate degree required, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred; healthcare-related specialization preferred (e.g. Healthcare Administration/Management, Public Health, Medical Informatics, etc)
  • 5+ years of administrative and supervisory experience in a medical practice setting.
  • Knowledge of medical practice workflows and procedures.
  • Experience with EMR/scheduling systems – eClinicalWorks experience is an advantage.
  • Experience motivating, managing and leading teams to drive performance and business outcomes. 
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook, plus a variety of other word-processing, spreadsheet, database, e-mail and presentation software

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced degree – Healthcare Management, Business, Nursing 
  • Prior PNL ownership experience 5MM+
  • Experience managing multiple sites is preferred.
  • Experience with inventory/supply management

Travel Expectations: Minimum 25% up to 50% as needed travel. 

Travel reasons include the following but not limited to:

  • Offsite Hub Meetings 
  • Provider/Staff Ride A long’s 
  • All Staff Annual Meeting
  • Market Leadership Quarterly Meetings 
  • Supply delivery to staff, pick up, or inventory management for expanded services

License requirements 

  • Ability and means to travel as needed in a timely manner to locations that may have limited access to public transportation; proof of liability and property damage insurance
